ALERT: FINAL CALL FOR ALLAN GRAY ORBIS FOUNDATION FELLOWSHIP APPLICATIONS – DEADLINE 30 APRIL 2026

The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation is urging Grade 12 learners across South Africa to submit their applications for the University Fellowship Programme as the closing date of 30 April 2026 (17:00 SAST) draws closer, with less than 15 days remaining.

This opportunity comes at a critical time, as many matriculants face growing financial pressure and uncertainty around access to tertiary education. The Fellowship Programme offers more than just university funding—it provides a comprehensive development pathway aimed at nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets and long-term leadership potential.

Successful applicants will receive needs-based university funding, alongside entrepreneurial development training, mentorship from industry professionals, and access to a strong support network designed to help young people build impactful, purpose-driven ventures.

The programme is open to South African citizens currently in Grade 12 who meet the academic requirements, including strong performance in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy, and a minimum overall Grade 11 average of 70% (excluding Life Orientation). Applicants must also intend to study at selected partner universities and pursue eligible degrees in fields such as Commerce, Science, Engineering, Law, Humanities, Arts, or Health Sciences (excluding Medicine, Veterinary Science, and Dentistry).
