Zanzou Club under the spot light

Jozi Advertiser is deeply disturbed by the alleged recent events at Zanzou nightclub in Pretoria. Shocking videos have surfaced, revealing patrons being subjected to severe assault and humiliation. These actions are utterly unacceptable and violate the fundamental rights of individuals.

The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development has strongly condemned these heinous acts, emphasizing that they are a gross violation of human dignity and the rule of law. They have called for swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice.

In response, Gauteng police have initiated a manhunt for at least eight suspects involved in these incidents. National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola described the events as “inhumane, barbaric, and unacceptable.”

Zanzou management has stated that the security personnel involved have been dismissed. However, the nightclub’s future remains uncertain as investigations continue.

We urge anyone with information on this and other simmilar establisments to come forward and assist law enforcement in ensuring that justice is served. Our thoughts are with the victims, and we hope for their swift recovery.
