National Lotteries Commission Extends Closing Date for Funding Applications

The National Lotteries Commission (NLC) wishes to inform prospective applicants for funding that the closing date for funding applications for the 2024/25 Call for Applications has been extended from 28 February 2025 to 31 March 2025.

The extension is granted to ensure that applying not-for-profit organisations that require additional assistance with registrations and applications on the NLC’s recently launched online platform can do so with sufficient time to finalise their applications.

“In response to feedback from our stakeholders, we are establishing helpdesks which are supported by the Department of Social Development (DSD) and our technical experts across all provinces where applicants can receive face-to-face assistance from NLC officials”, says NLC Commissioner Jodi Scholtz.

The schedules and locations for the helpdesk sessions are available on the NLC’s website and social media platforms.

Scholtz also emphasised that applying organisations may access the platform remotely or receive support at NLC offices in all provinces or from the Contact Centre on 08600 65 383.

All organisations intending to apply for funding are required to register a profile with the NLC before lodging an application.
